Elegy of the Veiled Siren

The subject of this canvas is the veil: translucent, it reveals without surrendering, draws close without allowing touch. The figure — a siren who has chosen silence — presents a beauty that demands nothing, a presence that does not seek to capture. Palette of golds and deep greens evoking marine depths, luminous scales: Legac paints here the melancholy of a power freely relinquished. Oil on canvas, 150 × 150 cm, 2024.
