The Golden Bloom

A tilted-back face emerges from an explosion of golden arabesques that occupy the entire surface — filaments, tendrils, coils between plant and ornament. A winged butterfly rests over the closed eyes. Teal ground, integrated baroque frame. Legac proposes here ornament not as container but as origin: this face is the seed of the garden that surrounds it. Oil on canvas, 120 × 120 cm, 2025.
