The Ecliptic Grace

A figure at the edge of myth: white curved horns, gold halo, vestigial wings of feathers and fur, luminous skin threaded with fragments of gold leaf. Eyes closed, lips a deep red, the ground a textured grey that refuses glare and holds the figure in a space beyond time. Neither angel nor goddess — something intermediate, liminal, orbiting between the celestial and the terrestrial with the fullness of a creature reconciled to its hybrid nature. Oil on canvas, 150 × 150 cm, 2025.
