The Geometry of Silence

An almost white ground covered with a light grid and an engraved circle: the figure inscribes herself within it like a subject of geodesy, pale to the point of transparency, head bowed, a single tear on the cheek. The golden baroque border of the dress is the only poetic anachronism in a world of cold measurement. Oil on canvas, 120 × 120 cm, 2025.
