Divided Grace (2024) has recently been featured on the main page of Artnet, one of the leading global platforms in contemporary art.

Created during Jehan’s time in Bangkok, this artwork embodies a quiet yet profound transformation in his artistic process. It belongs to a recent series in which the artist explores gold as both a material and a metaphor — a fragile boundary between the sacred and the human, the visible and the unseen.

In Divided Grace, subtle layers of oil and gold reveal a meditative tension between opposites: fragility and strength, light and shadow, matter and spirit. Through these contrasts, the work reflects a moment of introspection that resonates deeply with the evolving tone of Jehan Legac’s recent oeuvre.

The Artnet feature echoes the quiet evolution of an artist devoted to presence, transformation, and grace.

These themes are central to my ongoing creative journey in mystical surreal women art.
